How to Pick the Cold Press Juicer?

Cold press juicers are the newest kind of juicers available in the market which make juicing more exciting, healthier and tastier than ever before. Those who are already aware of the advantages of homemade juices are now picking cold pressed juice as their first preference because they understand that these are the best kinds of juices. Cold press juicers also add more variety to your drinks by letting you process a greater range of fruits and vegetables and thus also letting you benefit from a greater range of nutrients. Here are some of the important points you need to consider when looking for a cold press juicer:

Make sure it is cold press:

This seems like the most obvious thing you would notice but it’s easy to get it wrong. Since they are so many types of juicers available in the market, you could easily fail to notice whether it is actually a cold press juicer that you are bringing home or not. You simply need to make sure that the juicer you select says cold press juicer on its packing. If the name ‘cold press’ is not mentioned anywhere then it is not a cold press juicer.

Pulp is ejected easily:

Most cold press juicers have a container which collects the pulp which is to be discarded. This container can either be internal or external. The external containers are easier to work with since you do not have to stop the juicing process while emptying the pulp container. You might also like the models with which do not have a pulp collection container at all since you can directly place a waste basket underneath to collect the pulp.

Size of the feed chute:

The size of the feed chute is another important consideration which you need to look at if you want to make your work easier and cut down on the preparation time. With a wider feed chute you will not have to cut most fruits and vegetables into smaller pieces before feeding them to the machine.

Size of the juicer:

If you have a smaller countertop space available in the kitchen, you should consider purchasing a best cold press juicer with which has a smaller base. However if space is not an issue, you should consider buying a big juicer if you extract juice frequently. A big cold press juicer will mean a bigger pulp collection container and juice collecting container so that you can make larger quantities without transferring the juice to another container.

Cleanup:

You should also consider the type of cleanup the machine offers. A cold press juicer which is difficult to clean will not be used so frequently because you will be put off with the thought of cleaning it. A machine that is easier to clean on the other hand will motivate you to use it more often. If you don’t like hand cleaning at all, you should find for yourself a dishwasher safe cold press juicer.
